HUECK FOILS Completes Second Major Expansion
of South Carolina Manufacturing Center
Adds 6,500 square feet to support
enhanced printing
and laminating capabilities
WALL, NJ -- HUECK FOILS L.L.C., a leading converter of foils and films for the healthcare and food industries, has recently completed an expansion of its Blythewood, South Carolina production facility, it was announced by George Thibeault, Jr., President of HUECK FOILS.
The expansion added 6,500 square feet to the existing 50,000 square-foot plant to make room for additional storage and machine space, a new parts washing room, and a new automatic ink dispensing system. This was the second major expansion of this plant in the last five years. The Blythewood facility, which first opened in 1997, originally occupied 30,000 square feet.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held at the Blythewood plant on Tuesday, August 2, 2005 and was attended by a host of HUECK executives, local civic and business leaders, as well as members of the Central Carolina Economic Development Alliance.
