can be customized with holographic or Guilloche patterns, using a
customer’s logo, for instance; raster functions; U.V. light
fluorescent features; rainbow gratings; micro-image type; and more.
“These elements can be varied and customized, and can be made
explicit so that consumers know immediately whether they have purchased
an authentic pharmaceutical, or they can be hidden for investigators
to search for should there be a suspicious product,” she said.
Since PROTECCO® can be used on the same equipment
used for conventional foil lidding, it offers a solution to counterfeiting
problems that can easily be integrated into the production process
while presenting packages that feature more identity and are therefore
more appealing to consumers.
