HUECK FOILS Introduces Blister Foil Sealing to
Honeywell’s ACLAR® Barrier Films
at Interphex 2003

WALL, NJ -- HUECK FOILS L.L.C. is promoting its line of blister foils sealing to ACLAR high-barrier films made by Honeywell. Ready-made blisters were shown at the company’s Booth # 834 at Interphex 2003, March 31 through April 2 at the Jacob K. Javits Conference Center in New York City.

The product’s unique characteristics now enable pharmaceutical manufacturers to invert the lamination film and thermoform blisters with ACLAR-In™, resulting in improved barrier properties of the total package as compared to the usual ACLAR structures. According to Angela Roggenhofer, HUECK FOILS’ Healthcare Marketing Manager, “The product line is now ready to market. It took extensive research and development to come up with an appropriate coating that seals to such a ‘non-stick’ base material as ACLAR”.

At the moment, applications include peelable child-resistant foil as well as unsupported aluminum push-through foil. Other materials will be introduced according to the market’s demands.

In addition, HUECK FOILS will feature their complete range of blister materials including push-through, paper-back, and child-resistant laminations, as well as cold-formable foil. There will be a special focus on 2-side printed Child-Resistant blister foil, as well as PROTECCO, HUECK FOILS’ security packaging material.
