HUECK FOILS NAMES GENE MATTHEWS
AS MANAGER OF APPLICATION ENGINEERING
FOR HEALTHCARE

WALL, NJ -- Gene Matthews of Charlotte, North Carolina has joined HUECK FOILS, LLC as Application Engineering Manager for the company’s healthcare products, it was announced by George N. Thibeault, Jr., Hueck President and CEO. Based at Hueck’s Columbia, South Carolina plant, Mr. Matthews will serve as a liaison between the firm’s R&D and Applied Technology sectors located at their Weiden, Germany headquarters.

According to Mr. Thibeault, HUECK FOILS is currently expanding its South Carolina operations by adding a new, state-of-the-art coater/laminator which will enable the company to offer their pharmaceutical and food customers in the U.S. faster, more efficient service in providing flexible packaging materials.

Prior to joining HUECK FOILS, Matthews served as Technical Service Manager for Pharmaceutical and Healthcare Packaging at Reynolds’ (Alcoa) Flexible Packaging. With over 30 years of experience in the packaging field, he holds numerous patents in his name.
